I don't have five Xanga friends since I rarely use this except to read, so I'll just answer the questions.

| I had my second interview today for the job I interviewed for last Friday. We talked for about 80 minutes. He narrowed it down to three people, so I have decent odds now.
I've been reading The Iowa Baseball Confederacy. I love it so far, but I'm only 100 or so pages in. My dog likes it since it means she gets to snuggle up while I read.
I finally feel calm enough to hang out with people up here. I felt like there things I needed to get done this first week.
Our washer and dryer get delivered Monday. So exciting. I'm an appliance and electronics whore. No laundromat in the rain! I can wash the stinky dog stuff whenever I want. My joy knows no bounds.
I need to find a gym here. I've investigated, but don't want to pay a lot since I'm just going to be using freeweights and the bikes. Okay, I may try a spinning class. Whatever. i don't want to pay a lot. And there have to be good showers.
Any suggestions on a gym with good showers in Portland? |
